Our Story

InvoiceTool was built out of a simple frustration: most invoice generators are either expensive, cluttered with unnecessary features, or require you to hand over your client data to a cloud service. Freelancers and small business owners around the world needed something better.

The result is a tool that runs entirely in your browser. There's no backend, no database, no account system. Your business data belongs to you and stays on your device. Everything from client names to invoice amounts is stored in your browser's local storage — the same way a note-taking app might save your notes.

We built InvoiceTool to handle the real-world complexity of freelance billing: tax support (GST, VAT, and custom rates), multiple currencies, UPI QR code generation, partial payment tracking for projects paid in instalments, recurring invoice support for monthly retainers, a revenue dashboard with overdue detection, WhatsApp share, and full data backup and export — all without ever sending your data to a server.
